Up for sale a Rare New in Seal Box Tamiya 1/10 RC Daytona Thunder 58153 Group C Chassis. Released by Tamiya on April 26, 1995, the Daytona Thunder has a Chevy Stockcar body, said to be maid by Parma and a Dynatech 01R motor. The chassis for the Daytona Thunder was a short wheelbase version of the one used for the Mercedes Benz C11 (#58088) designated the "Group-C" chassis.

The configuration of the "Group-C" chassis was similar in a number of ways to the F101, not least in that it employed a ball differential in place of the older Orbital Gear type. This gave the car improved stability when cornering and smoother, controlled acceleration out of the corner. The Daytona Thunder was the eighth RC model made by Tamiya, based on the "Group-C" chassis. Kit was discontinued and hard to find. READY TO ASSEMBLE R/C MODEL KIT.
